It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the International Gliding Championship of Poland in the World and 18 meter class, which will be held at Grudziądz/Lisie Kąty airfield between 14th and 23rd, August, 2009.
It is a privilege but also a great challenge for us to organize such a prestigious event. This year we are going to combine 3 different gliding competitions:
- II International Gliding Championship of Poland in 18 meter class
- III International Gliding Championship of Poland in the World Class
- Szczepan Grzeszczyk Polish National Gliding Competition in Club class
We would like to invite both pilots and their companions to one of the oldest and most picturesque airfields in Poland ? Lisie Kąty, which is also known for its excellent thermal and topographic gliding conditions. Moreover, there are also no airspace restrictions over the airfield, and the surrounding airspace is easy to handle.
The organizer of the competition ? ?Aeroklub Nadwiślański? has been cultivating gliding traditions in Lisie Kąty since 1946, when it was originally founded. With so much experience we are hoping to provide you with a safe, friendly and challenging event.
